How do I create a DreamFi account?

It’s easy to create a DreamFi account. Just download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and sign up.

Keeping your DreamFi account safe is easier than you might think! Here are some simple ways to protect your money:

1. Stick with the real thing – Only download our app from the Google or Apple app stores, and try to avoid checking your account on public Wi-Fi.
2. Mix up your passwords – Create passwords that would be hard for others to guess (no birthdays or pet names!), and change them every few months. Password managers can be a huge help here.
3.Lock down your phone – Make sure your phone requires a passcode or fingerprint to unlock, and set it to lock automatically when not in use.
4.Stay one step ahead of scammers – Never share your login details or personal info if someone contacts you out of the blue. And take a quick peek at your transactions regularly to spot anything fishy.

These small steps make a big difference in keeping your money safe!

The DreamFi Visa debit card is issued by Cottonwood Payments.

You can report a lost or stolen debit card in the DreamFi app. Follow these steps:
In your DreamFi app, click on the “Available Balance” and then go to the Card tab and select “Replace card”.
From the drop down menu, select “Lost” or “Stolen” and then “Order new card”.
Your old card will be cancelled immediately and will no longer be active.
Your replacement card is on the way! Your new card will be shipped to your address on file and will arrive in 7-10 business days. Your replacement card will have a new number, expiration date, and security code.

To freeze your card, follow the below steps:
In the DreamFi app, click on “Available Balance” and then go to the “Card” tab and press the “Freeze card” toggle.
Confirm that you want to freeze your card.
Your card is now frozen. In-store, online, and ATM transactions will be disabled. You can unfreeze your card at any time.
To unfreeze your card, follow the below steps:
In the DreamFi app, go to the “Card” tab and press the “Unfreeze card” toggle.
Your card is now unfrozen and can be used to make transactions.

We want to welcome you as a new DreamFi member! You should have received your debit card by mail, and now you can activate it by logging into the DreamFi mobile app. In a few easy steps, your card will be ready for use!

Log in to your DreamFi mobile app.
Select “Activate Card”.
Confirm that you have the card with you.
Enter the 3-digit CVV from your card.
Set your PIN.
Confirm your PIN.

Your debit card should arrive within 7-10 business days.

Good news! You can use over 40,000 Allpoint ATMs across the U.S. completely free of charge. No fees from us, no fees from them!

If you end up using a non-Allpoint ATM, just know that the ATM owner might charge their own fee (and unfortunately, we don’t cover those).

To find the nearest Allpoint ATM, go to www.allpointnetwork.com/locator or use the Allpoint ATM locator in the DreamFi app.

Yes! You can deposit up to $1,000 cash per day at Allpoint+ ATM locations. Your funds will be available within two hours.

To find an Allpoint+ ATM:

Open your DreamFi app and go to the Move tab

Select “Find an Allpoint ATM”.
Enter zip code.
Select the button with the lines to the right.
Then select “Allpoint+ Cash Deposit ATMs.”(important: regular Allpoint ATMs don’t accept deposits)

Your DreamFi card has a combined limit of $3,000 per day, which includes both point-of-sale purchases and ATM withdrawals. There is a $1,000 per day limit for ATM withdrawals.

To open your DreamFi Account, make sure you meet the following requirements:

You’re at least 18 years old.

You have a valid Social Security number.

You’re a U.S. citizen or legal alien.

You have a U.S. mobile phone number.

You have a residential mailing address (no P.O. boxes).

Not right now—DreamFi doesn’t currently offer joint accounts. But stay tuned! We’re expanding and plan to introduce new features and products regularly.

Yes! After you open an account, you can expect a debit card to arrive in 7-10 days.

There are several ways you can add money to your DreamFi checking account.

You can transfer money from another bank account.

Set up direct deposit with your employer.

Add cash at Allpoint+ ATM cash deposit locations.

In your DreamFi app, go to the Move tab and tap ‘Set up direct deposit’ – that’ll give you all the instructions you need. From there, you’ll work with your employer to get everything finalized.

DreamFi’s routing number is 124303298. You can find your account and routing numbers in your DreamFi app by going to Settings > Account > Account Details. You can also find your account number in the Customer Detail section of your monthly statement.

No, DreamFi accounts don’t currently support adding co-applicants or co-owners.

No, DreamFi is not a bank, but a financial technology company that offers banking services. DreamFi partners with Cottonwood Payments and Finwise Bank an FDIC-insured bank.

If you don’t recognize a transaction in your account, you can dispute it in your app by following these steps:
1. Select the transaction you would like to dispute by clicking on it.
2. Click “Dispute this transaction”
3. Select the reason and provide more details if necessary. Click the submit button.
